ASSISTANCE GIVEN FOR JUNE 2011
The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation:
- provided financial assistance to the widow of an officer from the 001st District who was killed in the line of duty.
- provided financial assistance to the widow of an officer from the 002nd District who was killed in the line of duty.
- provided educational assistance to the family of an officer from the 022nd District who was killed in the line of duty.
- provided educational assistance to the family of an officer from the 020th District who was killed in the line of duty.
- provided educational assistance to the family of an officer from the 007th District who was killed in the line of duty.
- provided educational assistance to the family of an officer from the 004th District who was catastrophically in the line of duty.
- On June 30th the CPMF chartered a bus and brought 28 uniformed Chicago police officers to the office of the Illinois Prisoner Review Board (IPRB) in Springfield for the en banc hearings of Johnny Veal and George Knights for the July 17, 1970 murders of Sgt. James Severin and P.O. Anthony Rizzato. Parole was denied for both.

- is currently paying the tuition for the children of a police officer from the 011th District who was killed in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the children of a police officer from the 022nd District who was killed in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the children of a police officer from the 020th District who was killed in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the children of a police officer from the 010th District who was killed in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the daughter of a police officer from the 007th District who was killed in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the son of a police officer from Unit 136 who was killed in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the daughter of a police officer from Unit 188 who was killed in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the son of a police officer from Unit 543 who was killed in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the daughter of a police officer from the 024th District who was catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the children of a police officer from the 022nd District who was catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the children of a police officer from the 004th District who was catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
- is currently paying the tuition for the children of a police officer from the 013th District who was catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
- provided $2,500.00 for books, school supplies and after school activities for 27 children of police officers who were killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
