Det. Jerome Stubig #9127

Detective Jerome Stubig, while conducting a bomb investigation, observed several fellow officers rushing to apprehend a dangerous gunman. Detective Stubig, in an effort to assist his fellow officers, climbed the rear stairs to the gunman's apartment. Detective Stubig was met by the gunman. Both Detective Stubig and Sergeant James Schaffer were shot and fatally wounded during the encounter.
