P.O. Albert Brown #2806

Officer Albert Brown, while assigned as the district lockup keeper, became involved in a fierce struggle with an escaped prisoner. During the struggle, the prisoner was able to gain control of Officer Brown's service revolver and shoot Officer Brown. Although wounded, Officer Brown was able to continue to struggle until the revolver was wrestled away from the prisoner. However, the brave officer died soon afterward from the injuries he sustained.
