Officer Anthony Rizzato and his partner were assigned to foot patrol. While walking their beat in a public housing development, Officer Rizzato and his partner were struck by sniper bullets. The dedicated officer and his partner, Sergeant James Severin, died as a result of the gunshot wounds they sustained. |
