P.O. Bruce Garrison #14775

Officer Bruce Garrison and his partner observed a suspicious man emerge from a tavern. The man walked to his car and then, after seeing the officers, reentered the tavern. As Officer Garrison and his partner investigated, they noticed a sawed-off shotgun near the man's car. As the officers entered the tavern, the offender drew a pistol and fired several shots. Both Officer Garrison, and his partner Officer William Marsek, were fatally wounded.
