Reflections
Charles Brady was my grandfather, but I never got to meet him because he was killed when my father and his eight siblings were just young children. 60 years later and more officers are being killed than ever. Fathers, brothers, sons, husbands, the people who protect US, are being needlessly murdered. This violence needs to end. My grandfather and the hundreds of other CPD officers who have been killed were great people just trying to protect the city and provide for their families. My grandfather would have 50-some grandchildren, but he'll never know them. Love you Grandpa Chuck.
Sue, do you have a picture of Charles Brady that you can send? If so, please email to info@cpdmemorial.org. This is the only picture we have on file and it is also printed in Alderman Burke's book, End of Watch. Thank you.
