Officer Edward O'Donnell was providing security to a businesswoman transporting cash and checks from a bakery to a bank. While en route, they were accosted by two armed robbrers. When Officer O'Donnell attempted to arrest one offender, the second offender fired a gun. The dedicated officer was fatally wounded. |
