P.O. George Helstern #1124

While on patrol, Officer George Helstern and his partner observed a suspicious man standing on a corner. As Officer Helstern and his partner approached, the offender drew a revolver and began firing. The courageuos officers were struck. Both Officer Helstern and his partner, Officer Charles Brady, were killed in the exchange.
