P.O. James Kakacek

Officer Kakacek and his partner were given word via a wire tap to head to the poolroom, where two mexican immigrants wanted for robbery were thought to be. Officer Kakacek and his partner arrived first in their civilian clothes when two other officers walked in. The uniformed officers mistakingly shot at Kakacek and his partner when they mistook them for the criminals. Kakacek was shot and critically wounded, leading to his death.
