Officer John Conley and his partner courageously responded to a disturbance call of an intoxicated man armed with a shotgun. The offender had shot his wife and killed a citizen. When confronted, the gunman fired shotgun blasts at the courageous officers. Both Officer Conley and his partner, Officer Herbert Hagberg, were killed in the incident. |
