On 11 Sep 1964, Officer Jasper was chasing a speeding motorist southbound when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound. His squad car swerved into a light pole and burst into flames. Officer Jasper burned to death when his squad car exploded. |

Dad Not a day goes by that I don't miss you and feel so cheated that you were taken from us all too soon. You would be proud how mom carried on and raised us keeping in mind your values of knowing right from wrong, moral courage, and doing the right thing instead of the easy one.
