P.O. John Ryan #5618

Officer John Ryan was assigned to serve an arrest warrant on a robbery offender. Officer Ryan went to the robbery offender's apartment to make the arrest. In an effort to resist the arrest, the offender produced a revolver and began firing. Courageously, Officer Ryan returned fire, but was fatally wounded in the gun battle.
