P.O. Morris Friedman #2619

While on patrol, Officer Morris Friedman observed three suspicious individuals in an automobile. The occupants, who were wanted for several robberies across the Midwest, sped away as Officer Friedman approached. As Officer Friedman curbed the vehicle, one occupant fled on foot. Officer Friedman pursued the offender and a gun battle ensued. The courageous officer was struck and fatally wounded.
