Reflections
I remember being told as kids that our youngest brother was named in Officer Crowley's memory. I know that my father, Bill Callaghan, respected and admired Officer Crowley. May they both rest in peace and continue to serve and protect from above!
Pat was the best Police Officer I ever encountered in 31 years on the Chicago Police Department. I remember when he decided to become a Firefighter. I told him it would never work because he'd be jumping off the back of the truck to, "Stop and Frisk" criminals on his way to a fire. He didn't stay long at the Fire Department. He came back to us and showed us how to be good, dedicated Police Officers. He always lives in our memories. --Jack Halpin 03/23/2008
