Officer Roman Steinke and his partner attempted to arrest an offender wanted for assault. During the course of the arrest, the offender grabbed a revolver and fired three shots, striking both officers and a third person. Though mortally wounded, Officer Steinke was able to return fire, striking the gunman. |
