Officer McNamara was fatally injured in the line of duty after being struck by a vehicle. According to a witness the driver hit the Officer, got out to look at him, then continued to get back in his car and speed off. The criminal was later caught, and unfortunately Officer McNamara succumbed to his injuries. |
