Patrolman Johnson was shot and killed outside his apartment when he was sent home from work due to illness. Johnson was returning to put his uniform, gun, and badge in his car when shots were fired and struck him. Neighbors found Officer Johnson lying on the ground with gun shot wounds to the heart and was pronounced dead upon his arrival to the hospital. |
