2014 Operation Santa brings holiday cheer to families of fallen officers

On December 20th and 21st, Santa and Mrs. Claus traveled in a Secret Service Limousine flanked by dozens of Chicago Police officers, CPMF staff, supporters and well wishers and delivered gifts and holiday cheer to the families of our fallen and catastrophically injured Chicago Police Officers.  In all, 31 children and 21 families were reminded that the Chicago Police family will “NEVER FORGET” the sacrifices they have made on behalf of the City of Chicago.  The CPMF would like to extend a special thanks to our sponsor, MACY’s, for making this event possible, and to Choose Chicago, Fasan’s Florist, Chicago Marriott O’Hare, Perillo Gold Coast, Ryan Enterprise Group, Michael and JoAnn Sweig, C. Kevin Shannahan, William and Patrice Brandt, Deborah and Gary Eades, Robert Judelson, Harvey and Kay Rubin, Peter Nielsen,Rick Daitchman, Jim Zangrilli and Mullen’s Apple Sauce for making the families’ Christmas extra special.  Lastly, thanks to all of the CPMF’s supporters who supported Operation Santa through your mail-in donations.  We, and the families we serve, are truly grateful….THANK YOU!
