• provided financial assistance to the family of an officer from the 023rd District who passed away.

• purchased gifts for the children of police officers from the 007th, 010th, 011th, 015th, 020th, 22nd, & 23rd Districts, Narcotics Section, Special Operations Group and Detached Services who had been killed in the line of duty. CPMF also purchased gifts for catastrophically injured police officers and their children from the 004th, 008th, 022nd, 013th & 024th Districts and Gang Crimes South.
• purchased Christmas gifts for the families of police officers currently deployed in the military.
• On December 18th & 19th, Operation Santa took place with Santa and Mrs. Claus being escorted by Chicago Police Officers and delivering gifts to the homes of these children.

•  provided educational assistance to the family of an officer from the 004th District who was catastrophically in the line of   duty.
• On June 30th the CPMF chartered a bus and brought 28 uniformed Chicago police officers to the office of the Illinois Prisoner Review Board (IPRB) in Springfield for the  en banc hearings of Johnny Veal and George Knights for the July 17, 1970 murders of Sgt. James Severin and P.O. Anthony Rizzato.  Parole was denied for both.

• gave $50,000 to the family of Officer Paul Nauden from the Narcotics Section who died in the line of duty
• provided financial assistance to the family of a Detective from the Juvenile Intervention Support Center who passed away.
• provided financial assistance to the widow of an officer from the 002nd District who was killed in the line of duty.
• provided financial assistance to the widow of an officer from the Detective Bureau/Robbery Detail.
• provided financial assistance to the widow of an officer from the 001st District who was killed in the line of duty.
• provided financial assistance to an officer in the 013th District who is terminally ill.
• provided financial assistance to an officer in the 013th District who suffered a stroke while on duty.
• provided financial assistance to the widow of an officer from the 015th District who passed away.
• provided financial assistance to a retired P.O. from Vice Control who was permanently disabled in the line of duty
• provided financial assistance to P.O.’s currently on disability in the following districts: 002nd, 008th, 003rd, 016th, 021st, 020th, 007th, 009th, and Human Resources Division.
• paid for Police Motorcycles and the Honor Guard to attend National Police Week in Washington D.C.
