The Horses of Honor is a public art installation in Chicago benefiting the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. This project features lifesize statues of Chicago’s Police Horses that are artistically and individually produced and designed by local Chicago artists. From September until November 2014 these public art pieces will be on display in prominent locations throughout the City, such as Michigan Avenue and the airports, to honor the lives of our fallen heroes of the Chicago Police Department.
Each Horse will be named after a fallen hero of the CPD. When our exhibition concludes, the Horse Statues will be transported to a final exhibit space before a live auction at our Closing Ceremony. Net proceeds from this project will go directly to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation to support and assist the families of Chicago police officers who were killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
Horses are available for sponsorship at a cost of $2,500 for a Checkerboard Sponsorship, $3,500 for a Gold Star Sponsorship, and additional customized sponsorships beginning at $10,000 (artist costs not included). The CPMF is partnering with Agency 360° in this endeavor and Agency 360° team members will match sponsors with artists at their request.
