Bryant Brewer Sentenced to Life Plus 115 years

On September 23, 2015, Bryant Brewer was sentenced Wednesday to life plus 115 years in prison for killing Chicago police Officer Thor Soderberg and shooting at three other officers and a civilian in 2010. Brewer had been convicted last month following a bench trial by Cook County Judge Timothy Joyce, who imposed the sentence.

Police Chaplain to Hold Public Prayer Service Prior to Sentencing of Thor Soderberg’s Murderer

Thanks To Mike and Ben Brady, New Bulletproof Vests To The 024th District

Friday, September 11 — Thanks to a sizable donation made by Mike and Ben Brady, officers from the 024th District received new bulletproof vests through the “Get Behind the Vest” initiative.
