Statement from the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation:

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation has worked with Densey Cole on an ongoing basis since his tragic accident to provide him and his family the support they need. This includes financial assistance, housing support and tuition for his daughters’ education.

Additionally, the CPMF has provided Densey with an attorney to represent him in the eviction proceedings and in his dealings with the Committee on Finance.

The CPMF will continue to advocate for and provide assistance to Densey Cole and our other officers who are catastrophically injured during the performance of their duty to serve and protect the city and its residents.

Since 2007, the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation has provided over $5.6 million dollars to the families of Chicago Police Officers killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
