OUR MISSION

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2004, dedicated to honoring the lives of our fallen heroes. The Foundtiion provides support and assistance to the families of Chicago Police Officers that have been killed or catastropically injured in the line of duty. LOW FUNDRAISING MINIMUMS

TEAM CPD asks all runners to register independently for the Rock N Roll Chicago Half Marathon and then register HERE for TEAM CPD! Upon signing up for TEAM CPD, you agree to fundraise a MINIMUM of $200.00 by July 28, 2009. (If you would like to train with CARA, you must fundraise a minimum of $300)

FREE CARA MEMBERSHIP AND TRAINING!!

Any member of TEAM CPD who raises a minimum of $300 will receive a free CARA membership and be able to train for the half marathon with CARA all season long at ANY of CARA's city or suburban locations! CARA has programs to accommodate any level, from walk/run to those who can run like the Kenyans!

Take advantage of private gear-check, pre-and post race tent, food, beverages and private port-a -potties!! Meet friends and family without a hassle post-race!

If you join TEAM CPD for Both the Rock N Roll 1/2 and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon you are only required to fundraise a Total of $450!*

* this minimum applies only to participants who registered for each event on their own during open registration, not those who obtained a charity entry through Team CPD
