On Sunday, December 9th, the 9900 block of South Artesian Avenue will be renamed Honorary "Officer Michael Flisk Ave". The ceremony will take place at the intersection of 100th Street & Artesian Avenue at 1:00pm. Please come out and help us remind the family of Officer Michael Flisk that we will "NEVER FORGET" them.

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to honoring the lives of our fallen heroes. The Foundation provides support and assistance to the families of Chicago police officers who are killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
Ignite the Spirit is an ongoing charity that was created to raise funds for Chicago's firefighters, paramedics, and their families in a time of need.
SALUTE, INC. is dedicated to meeting the financial, physical, and emotional needs of injured military service members, veterans, and their families.

On Tuesday, October 16th, the 19th Ward Youth Foundation & Catholic Charities’ Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) will host a prayer service in support of first responders at 7:00pm at the Saint Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel, 7740 S. Western Ave. We’re inviting you and your family to come together in faith and recognize the difficulties that too many of our first responders quietly struggle with. We’re all in this together and we must continue to be there for each other.

Free parking is available at the club and also in the overflow lot at the corner of Touhy and Cumberland. The Metra - Union Pacific Northwest line Park Ridge stop is a 3-minute walk to the club.

A bill signing ceremony wherein Governor Bruce Rauner will sign Illinois House Bill 4471 into Law. HB 5513 amends the Illinois Lottery Law to include the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation in a scratch-off Illinois Lottery game which benefits Illinois police memorials. It provides that the net revenue from that game shall be divided equally for distribution into the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation Fund, the Police Memorial Committee Fund, and the Illinois State Police Memorial Fund and shall be used to fund grants for building and maintaining memorials and parks; holding annual memorial commemorations; giving scholarships to children of officers killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty, or those interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement or provides for the replacement of protective vests; and providing financial assistance to police officers and their families when a police officer is killed or injured in the line of duty.
The 14th Annual Area 4 Ride to Remember Memorial Motorcycle Ride is July 29, 2018.

Where: Former Area Four Detective Headquarters, 3151 W. Harrison - Harrison & Kedzie - West Parking Lot, Chicago, Illinois 60612.
Registration: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. sign in and line up. Online registration is available for a small convenience fee.
Pre-Registration: Register by July 15, 2018 to ensure t-shirt delivery on day of ride.

The ride leaves the former Area Four Detective Headquarters at 9.00 a.m. and travels south on the Boulevards and east to the Memorial Site along the Lake Front where there will be a short program.
