|Incident Details:||Police Officer William Perrin, 27, was assigned to the Gresham Station.
On November 30, 1924, Officer Perrin was fatally wounded and two other officers seriously wounded when they were falsely mistaken as a threat by a citizen. The citizen had parked his car in front of his home when the officers pulled up next to him. He thought he was going to be robbed and opened fire on the officers. Officer Perrin died at the scene.
Officer Perrin was laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
