|Incident Details:||Police Officer Henry Lange, 37, was assigned to the Traffic Division.
On December 21, 1928 Officer Lange was thrown from his horse after it was spooked by a passing vehicle near Van Buren and Franklin Streets. The officer was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital where it was determined that he had suffered a skull fracture. Officer Lange succumbed to his injuries on January 3, 1929.
Officer Lange was survived by his wife and two children.
